Reading, Pa. (March 13, 2026) - Alvernia University (1-1) dropped a non-conference women's tennis matchup to Kutztown University (3-3), 7-0, Friday afternoon down in Angelica Park. 

Jillian Laughman and Jamielyn Kelley dropped the #1 doubles matchup to Kutztown's Isabela de Nadai and Maddie Gilbert and Ryleigh Bohning and Ashlyn Phy took down the pair of Jennah DeGout and Adelynn Steffy in the #2 doubles match to secure the doubles point for Kutztown. 

The pairing of Grace Dobrzynski and Nicolina Schlesser fell to Gabby Gentile and Alyson Whitman in the #3 doubles match to close out the doubles action for the day. 

The Golden Bears also took all six of the singles matches en route to the victory. de Nadai took down Laughman in the #1 spot, Gilbert took down Steffy in #2 singles and Bohning defeated Kelley in the #2 spot to secure the victory for Kutztown. 

DeGout fell to Gentile, Dobrzynski fell to Kendra Yerger and Phy defeated Jordyn Ingelido to close the match out for the Golden Bears. 

The Golden Wolves are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Muhlenberg to take on the Mules at 4:00 PM.
