Equestrian Takes Second in Regular Season Finale

Doylestown, Pa. (March 16, 2026) - Alvernia Women's Equestrian finished out the 2025-26 regular season with a second place finish at Delaware Valley on Saturday.

The Golden Wolves finished with 31 points and took second place on the day, finishing just one point shy of a first place finish.

Alvernia was led by an impressive 11 point showing by Emma Philiposian. Philiposian took first place in open flat with a seven point ride on Zac. Her performance earned her regional qualification in open flat. She then followed that with a third place finish in open fences with a four point ride on Alvernia's Jazz. Her combined 11 points earned put her in a three-way tie for Reserve High Point Rider honors, which she won on a question-off.

Isabella Jermyn finished with a ten point day on two second place finishes. Jermyn took second in the limit fences on a five point performance riding Mini. She then followed with another five point performance on Mini in limit flats.

Emma Hackett was Alvernia's third highest point rider of the day with a combined nine points. Hackett finished in second on intermediate fences on Alvernia's Jazz, and also took fourth place in open flat on Vacquero.

Both Danielle Rech and Emmerson Bartley finished the day with four points. Reich took third in novice flat on Adonis. Bartley had a fourth place finish in limit flat on Cash and a sixth place finish in limit fences on Breeze.

Evelyn Gombar took fifth in the limit flat on Arian, and both Nicole Alvarado and Nya Barry had respective sixth place finishes in the introductory flat and intermediate fences.

Saturday marked Alvernia's final regular season show of the year. Both Emma Philiposian and Emmerson Bartley advanced to the regional finals on March 28th at Wyndsor. Philiposian will compete in the Open Flat, and Bartley will compete in the Novice Flat.
