Reading, Pa. (March 28, 2026) - Alvernia University (1-5, 0-1) dropped a MAC Commonwealth men's tennis match to Messiah University (5-5, 1-0), 7-0, Saturday afternoon at Governor Mifflin's Tennis Courts. 

The Falcons took all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point in the match. 

Messiah then recorded victories over the Golden Wolves in all six singles matches by two sets. Lucas Montello fell to Brady Hahn, 6-0, 6-2, in the #1 singles match, Luke Brisbois lost to Lance Wilson in the #2 singles match and Andrew Kao fell to Elijah Noll in the #3 singles match. 

Troy O'Malley dropped the #4 singles match, Duncan McDowell fell in the #5 match and Jordan Bosco rounded things out in the #6 singles match and fell to Xane Whitesel. 

Alvernia is back in action on Friday when they head to Dickinson to take on the Red Devils at 4:00 PM.
