Reading, Pa. (March 28, 2026) - Alvernia University (2-4, 0-1) dropped a MAC Commonwealth men's tennis match to Messiah University (6-4, 1-0), 7-0, Saturday afternoon at Governor Mifflin's Tennis Courts. 

Messiah recorded wins in all three doubles matches to grab the doubles point with a 6-2 victory in #1 doubles and 6-0 victories in the #2 and #3 doubles matches. 

Jillian Laughman fell in the #1 singles match, 6-2, 6-1 and Adelynn Steffy dropped the #2 singles match, 6-1, 6-0. 

Jamielyn Kelley and Jennah DeGout dropped the #3 and #4 singles matches, 6-0, 6-0. Jordyn Ingelido fell in the #5 singles match and Nicolina Schlesser also dropped her singles match in the #6 match. 

Alvernia is back at it after the Easter break when they host Albright College on Wednesday, April 8th for a MAC Commonwealth matchup with the Lions.
