Reading, Pa. (September 29, 2026) — First-year kicker Kevin Carotenuto has been recognized as the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance on Saturday, September 26 against Lebanon Valley College.

Carotenuto helped lead the Golden Wolves to a 13-10 victory over Lebanon Valley College. Carotenuto connected on two field goals, one of which was the game-winning score in double overtime. Carotenuto also connected on a 36-yard field goal with under 30 seconds to go in the first half to knot the game up at three apiece. This kick ended up being the points that sent the game into overtime, with the final score after four quarters being 3-3. Carotenuto then got a chance to win the game for the Golden Wolves when he came on to attempt a 21-yard field goal that lifted the Golden Wolves over the Dutchmen, 13-10. Carotenuto also tallied five punts for a total of 208 yards and an average of 41.6 yards per punt. Carotenuto quietly made Golden Wolves history as well when he fired a 72-yard punt from his own end zone that pinned the Dutchmen inside their own 20-yard line, which was a program record. He also pinned four of his five punts inside the Dutchmen 20-yard line, with two punts spanning over 50 yards.

The Golden Wolves are on a bye this week but are back in action on Homecoming weekend, October 10, against Misericordia. That game is set to kick off at 12:00 p.m.
