The 2009-2010 season marked Coach Carroll’s return to the Alvernia team after a brief hiatus. Coach Carroll has served as the head coach at Coatesville High School for three years and assistant coach for 11 years. Carroll graduated from Bucknell University (’68) where he was a member of the Basketball Team with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Coach Carroll was a member of the coaching staff that guided the 1997 Crusader squad to the final four. He also coordinates coaching clinics, summer basketball camps, and player development sessions in addition to his role at Alvernia University. Throughout his coaching career, Carroll has been awarded with the Inquirer Suburban Coach of the Year and Ches-Mont Coach of the Year. Coach Carroll led his previous teams to three Ches-Mont league titles and one District One Championship.
