Tom O'Connell

O'Connell has been an assistant coach with the Men's Golf team since 2005, and was named Women's Golf Head Coach in 2009.  He brings with him an extensive background in the game.  O'Connell graduated from Alvernia College 1995, and during his time here played #1 for the varsity golf team in 1995.  He was awarded the MVP of the team in 1994-1995, and was selected to the PAC All-Academic team for winter/spring 1995.  O'Connell graduated from Downingtown Senior High School in 1986 after playing #1 his senior year. He was named to the All-Chesmont second team in 1985, after being a member of the Champion Golf Team.  He also led the 1983 Chesmont team to an undefeated season.

In 1998 O'Connell worked as a professional caddie on the LPGA Tour for tour pro Deb Richard.

Coach O'Connell also serves as the head coach of the Crusader Ice Hockey Team.
