Coach Herr joinds the Crusaders squad for the 2010-11 season after spending time playing in the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League for the Wooster Warriors and the Jamestown Vikings, and the Eastern Professional Hockey League for the New Jersey Rockhoppers. Coach Herr was invited to both the Cincinnati Cyclones and Reading Royals training Camps in the ECHL.
Coach Herr has been playing hockey since the age of five and spent most of his travel hockey years playing with the Hershey Jr. Bears organization. He was selected three consecutive years to participate in the World PeeWee Championships in Quebec Canada, taking home the Gold medal in his third year. During his Bantam years at Hershey, Herr won Districts two years in a row and earned a silver medal in Nationals. In his Midget AA year he advanced to Nationals again where the Bears finished Seventh overall.
Coach Herr is board certified as a Radiologic Technologist and a Cat Scan Technologist and graduated from Reading Hospital School of Radiology and works fulltime at The Surgical Institute of Reading.
