Joe Jacobs-Ferderbar joined the Alvernia Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff in the fall of 2011. Jacobs-Ferderbar comes to Alvernia from Narazeth College, where he graduated in May 2011 with a degree in Business Administration.
Jacobs-Ferderbar competed four years at attack for the Nazareth Men’s Lacrosse team where he ranks fifth in career scoring (117 Goals, 75 Assists). During that time, the Golden Flyers reached two NCAA tournaments. For his efforts throughout his collegiate career, Jacobs-Ferderbar was named team captain his senior year, named All-American twice, All-Empire 8 Conference three times and the team's Offensive MVP three times. Additionally, Jacobs-Ferderbar was selected to play in the prestigious North-South Senior All-Star Game and was named a Scholar All-American.
Jacobs-Ferderbar attended high school at Orchard Park, located in upstate New York. He has gained coaching experience as an instructor at several camps and clinics throughout New York.
Jacobs-Ferderbar also serves as the Graduate Assistant for Intramurals and Wellness at Alvernia.
