Alvernia University Athletics

Nick Yando was a four year member of the Alvernia men's lacrosse team from 2004-07.  Yando served as a team captain all four years and moved into an assistant coaching position in 2008 when he accepted a job in the Student Activities Office. He finished his third season as assistant coach for Alvernia's Men's Lacrosse in 2010.

Yando was a dual-major as an undergrad at Alvernia.  He graduated with degrees in Secondary Education - Math and Theology.  He currently is the programming assistant in the Student Activities office.

Yando played high school lacrosse at Hempfield High School.  He was captain of the team as a senior and earned the team MVP award.
