Tunis joined the Crusader coaching staff for the 2012 season as a student assistant coach.  He was a two-year member of Alvernia's soccer team in 2010 and 2011, while also serving as the MAC SAAC president for those two years. 

Prior to his time at Alvernia, Tunis attended Ocean County College where he played two years and captained the nationally ranked soccer team.  OCC was ranked as high as fourth in the nation for DIII Junior Colleges.

Tunis was a four-year varsity soccer player for Brick Township High School in Ocean County, NJ.  He captained the team his junior and senior year and was all-conference honorable mention. 

Coach Tunis has nine years of youth soccer coaching experience, is a full-time coach and staff member for Rage SC in Reading, and director of the mini academy.  He also serves as the Director of Interns for Reading United PDL.
