Zach Naylon came to Alvernia in 2007 after transferring from the University of Delaware. Naylon had two very impressive years at Alvernia. He was very well respected among players and coaches from Alvernia as well as opposing teams. In 2007, Naylon led his team to their first playoff appearance in school history. In 2008, he led the men’s soccer team to their first and only PAC championship and ECAC tournament appearance. Also in 2008, Naylon was named All-PAC 1st Team, PAC player of the Year, d3kicks.com All-Region 2nd Team, and 1st Team All-Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. 

Naylon graduated from Alvernia in 2008, and is now taking graduate classes in Business Administration. He holds a Graduate Assistant position for the department of Professional Programs. He will begin his 4th season with Alvernia as assistant coach in the 2011 season.

Naylon played soccer at Governor Mifflin High School. He earned 1st Team All-Division honors in 2001, and 1st Team All-County in 2002.
