Coach Dino Dodig joined the Alvernia Track and Field staff in January 2023. The son of Serbian sprint coach Mirjan Stojanovic, Dodig competed at the collegiate level at Washington State University. At WSU, Dodig was a full-scholarship athlete, and competed in sprints, jumps, and was also a multi athlete in both indoor and outdoor track and field. He set the school record in the heptathlon his junior year, and was an All-American for the Cougars. Dodig was coached by Rick Sloan and Brad Walker at Washington State, and has also been coached by Goran Obrdovic for 15 years – the coach of one of the best long jumpers in history, Ivana Spanovic.

Dodig went on to earn his Bachelors in Psychology and Human Development from WSU. Dodig was also a top-20 finisher at the world junior championship, is a 10-time Serbian National Champion, and finished in the top-20 at the world junior championship, and top-15 at the European championship

Dodig uses his experience in the professional and Olympic environment, combined with knowledge and experience from collegiate coaches, to influence his coaching methods for planning, programing, and tapering. His goal is to use his experience and knowledge that he obtained throughout his career, and pass that on to his athletes in the direction to create NCAA Champions.
