Biography
2022-2023 (Junior)
Indoor:
Ziegler competed in six meets during the 2022-2023 indoor season and tallied career best jumps in the long jump and in triple jump. Ziegler posted a 11.79m triple jump at the Fastrack Season Opener and also posted a 6.06m long jump at the Alvernia Winter Invite, which was a career best. Ziegler competed at the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in both the triple and long jump and posted a 11.46m triple jump at the championships.
Outdoor:
Ziegler competed in four competitions for the Golden Wolves during the outdoor season and tallied career bests in the 100m and 200m at the York College Twilight. Ziegler posted a 100m time of 12.87 and a 200m time of 26.22 at the meet. Ziegler also competed at the MAC Outdoor Championships in the long jump and posted his best jump of the outdoor season with a 6.17m mark at the championships.
2021-2022 (Sophomore)
Indoor:
Ziegler participated in six competitions for Alvernia during the 2021-2022 indoor season and competed in the pole vault, the triple jump and the long jump. Ziegler posted a career best mark in the pole vault with a 2.89m mark at the Coach I Open and tallied his best long jump mark at the Alvernia PLEX Shootout with a 5.62m jump. Ziegler’s best triple jump mark of the indoor season came at the PLEX Shootout as well where he posted a 10.77m mark.
Outdoor:
Ziegler competed in seven meets during the 2022 outdoor season and recorded a career best mark in the javelin at the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Tune-Up with a 29.41m throw. Ziegler competed in the long jump, triple jump and the javelin throughout the outdoor season and posted his best long jump of the season at the Blue Jay Tune-Up with a mark of 5.72m. Ziegler tallied his best triple jump of the season at the Widener Invitational with a 11.68m mark.
2020-2021 (First Year)
Indoor:
Ziegler did not participate in a meet for the Golden Wolves during the 2020-2021 indoor season.
Outdoor:
Ziegler competed in six events for Alvernia in his first outdoor season and competed in the pole vault, long jump, triple jump and the 200m. Ziegler posted his best pole vault mark of the season at the Alvernia Last Chance meet with a 2.80m height, he also posted his season best triple jump with a 10.94m mark. Zielger tallied a 5.67m long jump at the Widner MAC Meet and posted a 26.31 time in the 200m at the LVC Dutchmen Meet.
