In 2013, Berger's fourth season as head coach, Alvernia was ranked every week in the NCAA East Regional poll, including a #3 ranking in the last poll of the season. The Crusaders posted a 37-11 record and earned the #2 seed in the Commonwealth Championships and the top seed in the ECAC Championships. Berger guided a program-record six All-Commonwealth selections, and another program-record three NFCA All-Region honorees. Alvernia led the conference in wins, batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs, hits, RBIs, doubles and triples. Alvernia finished ranked seventh in the nation with 7.52 runs per game, 11th in the nation in doubles per game (1.94), 15th in the nation with their .351 team batting average, and 19th in the nation with their .771 WL percentage.
In 2012, just her third season at the helm, the Crusaders were crowned Commonwealth Conference Champions. The pre-season #5 selection, Alvernia earned the #3 seed in the Championships, and went on to defeat Messiah twice in the Championship Round to earn the title. Alvernia advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in program history, where they went 2-2. Alvernia set a new program record for wins with 38, was 25th in the nation with their .776 winning %, and led the conference in hits, runs, doubles, homeruns, RBIs, total bases and wins. Berger guided three All-Conference selections, one NFCA All-Region selection through 2012, and the team posted a best-ever GPA of 3.420 through the 2011-12 academic year (27th in the nation).
The 2011 season was Berger's second season as the Crusader's head coach. Berger guided two All-Region selections and four All-Conference honorees while leading Alvernia into the ECAC semi-finals with a 23-13 overall record. The 2011 season saw Alvernia finish in the top three in the conference in batting average, on base percentage, runs scored, hits, RBIs, triples and homeruns. Additionally, the softball team had the sixth best GPA out of 22 teams at Alvernia.

Coach Berger took over the Softball program in 2010 and promptly led them to a 22-15 record and a berth in the ECAC Championships. In her first season, Berger produced one Second Team All-American and two All-Conference players. In 2010, the Crusaders led the conference with a .337 team batting average, in triples with 19, and in stolen bases with 51. They were also in the top three in the conference in slugging %, on-base % and runs scored.
Berger joined the Alvernia coaching staff as an assistant in 2006 after graduating from Seton Hall University Magna Cum Laude in 2005. As assistant coach, Berger helped guide a team that won just 12 games in 2005 to a then record-setting 31 wins in 2008.
At Seton Hall, Berger was a member of the Division One softball team, being named team captain her senior year. Coach Berger led the Pirates to repeat Big East Championships in 2004 and 2005, the first ever conference titles for Seton Hall Softball. Berger finished her career in the top ten in five offensive career categories including third in games played and sixth in at-bats. Coach Berger was a Big East Academic All-Star during her four seasons at Seton Hall, was a two-time NFCA Academic All-American, and was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District II Team in 2004. While at Seton Hall, Berger earned membership into the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society and the Alpha Chi Lambda Sport Management Honor Society.
In the fall of 2009, Berger
landed a role as a softball player in "How Do You Know", a major motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon. In the summer of 2006 Berger was named to Softball Canada's 'Players to Watch' list, her club team won the Ontario Provincial Championships and they finished fifth at the Canadian Nationals.
Berger is also the Assistant Director of Sports Information at Alvernia, and holds her MBA from Alvernia University.
