David Keen is the newest addition to the Crusaders' coaching staff as he begins his first year of coaching. Keen received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 2006 and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in 2009, both from Alvernia.
Keen played two years of college football as an outside linebacker when he attended Millersville University in 1967 and 1968.
Dave first met Coach Calabria as an undergraduate at Alvernia when he was enrolled in Coach’s Corporate Finance class. “Dave is a really smart guy who wanted to understand Finance. We became close friends immediately”, said Calabria.
Keen’s duties with the women’s basketball team include strength and conditioning as well as team statistician.
Keen is a Vietnam Veteran who served from 1969-1972. He is currently a Supervisor at Comcast where he has worked since 1985. He continues to be engaged in the Alvernia community as an adjunct instructor for the University’s business department.
