Coach Sawyer begins her fourth season on the staff of the Lady Crusaders. Jen graduated from Alvernia in 2004. Having played four years for Coach Calabria, Coach Sawyer provides insight to the current players as to the tradition of this very successful program as well as how to conduct themselves both on and off the court. Jen played on two PAC Championship teams that advanced to NCAA Tournaments. She was a 1000 point scorer and three year starter at shooting guard. Coach Calabria said "the thing I loved about Jen as a player is that she really worked hard to become a First Team All -PAC performer. She had the best jump shot of anyone who has ever played here over the last 18 years. She was mentally tough, could guard like crazy, as was a great competitor. She brings that mentality to this team. She does not accept excuses or mediocrity from any of our players." Jen lives in Sinking Spring.
