2006 will be Jen Amos' first season as the Assistant Coach at Alvernia. Amos began as the head coach at Alvernia in the 2004 season. In 2005, just her second season at the helm, Amos led the Crusaders to an impressive 7-7 mark, only their second season ever reaching the .500 mark, and had them in the playoff hunt into the final week of the regular season. 

Amos played her college years at East Stroudsburg University where she was a four year starter. She earned MVP honors and served as a tri-captain during her senior season. She also earned First Team and Second Team honors from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and the ESU Coaches Award. 

Amos was also a four year starter at Exeter High School where she earend the Eagle Talon Award.
