Keith Moodie joined the Alvernia University staff in 2018. Moodie is excited for the opportunity to serve as Alvernia’s Athletic Equipment and Operations Manager.
Moodie became a certified Athletic Equipment Manager in 2008 and is Director of District 2 for the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA), servicing Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virgina. He has also served on the National Conventions Vendor Committee for several years.
Moodie is a 1993 graduate of Springfield College, where he earned a degree in Sports Management. Moodie began his career in athletics during his years in New England. Moodie started working in the equipment rooms as a freshman at Springfield College, and served as a supervisor for athletic events. Moodie also served as president of the Springfield College hockey team, a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), after his playing career was cut short due to an injury. While in New England, Moodie also served as the Sports Director for YMCA programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Moodie has worked at all levels of NCAA Athletics. His experiences have taken him to Wesleyan University, Widener University, University of Delaware, and Millersville University. He brings those experiences to Alvernia and looks forward to creating a successful programs at Alvernia.
Moodie enjoys watching his son perform in various plays and other performances.
