Reading, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2007) – Cabrini College earned its 41st straight conference win with a 9-0 decision over Alvernia College Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women's tennis action at Angelica Courts.
Cabrini (10-2, 8-0 PAC) faced a bit of resistance from the No. 2 doubles team of
Janine Horning (Red Hill, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) and
Katie McCormack (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) before an 8-3 win. The Cavaliers cruised to straight set wins in all six singles flights.
Alvernia will host Ursinus College in a non-conference match on Monday.
