Crimi’s 16 Digs Lead The Defense

            Reading, Pa. (September. 15, 2007) – Senior middle hitter Amy Sikorski (Topton, Pa./Brandywine Heights) and fellow senior Natalie Minnich (Tower City, Pa./Williams Valley) both recorded double digit kills to carry Alvernia College to a 3-1 victory over Immaculata University Saturday afternoon in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference volleyball action at Alvernia.

            Alvernia (2-5, 1-1 PAC) lost the opening game 32-30 but rebounded to take the match 3-1.  Alvernia junior Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, Pa./Notre Dame) managed to stabilize the defense with 16 digs and Sikorski assisted with 12 of her own.  Immaculata (2-5, 0-2 PAC) was lead offensively by Jayme Lenosky who recorded 11 kills despite the loss.
