Alvernia Cruises Past Albright

York, Pa. (Sept. 22, 2007) – Alvernia College used a 30-28 win in game two to maintain momentum and cruised to a 30-19 win in game three and a 3-0 win over Albright College Saturday morning in day two action of the Best Western Westgate Women's Volleyball Invitational hosted by York College at Charles Wolf Gymnasium.

Junior Jenn Stigura (Barto, Pa./Central Catholic) led the Crusaders with 13 kills on 32 attempts. Three players recorded eight or more digs led by junior Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, Pa./Notre Dame) who finished with a dozen. Freshman Leah Crimi (Nazareth, Pa./Notre Dame) dished out 29 assists.

Alvernia will travel to Misericordia University for a conference match on Monday.
