Reading, Pa. (Sept. 23, 2008) - Alvernia College (3-5) breezed through all nine matches in a 9-0 win over Albright College (1-4) Tuesday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Angelica Park.

The Crusaders won the No. 2 and 3 doubles matches without dropping a game and sophomores Jenny McKee (York, Pa./York Catholic) and Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) earned an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.  Alvernia won five of six singles matches in straight sets with Laura Ehnes (Roselle Park, Pa./Roselle Park) taking the third to win at No. 5 singles.

Alvernia will travel to Misericordia University for a Freedom Conference match on Saturday.
