Annville, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2009) - Alvernia University (3-8, 0-2) senior Adam Lush (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) scored three goals for the Crusaders, but Lebanon Valley College (6-4-2, 1-1-0) found the game-winner five minutes into overtime Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's soccer action at Lebanon Valley.

Lush opened the scoring in the 32nd minute by burying a penalty kick for a 1-0 lead, but the Dutchmen scored three times before halftime to take a 3-1 lead.  LVC tied the score in the 35th minute and then Octavio Romeo scored twice in the 40th minute.

Lush's unassisted tally in the 64th minute cut the gap to one and then freshman Lucas Blair (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) set up a Lush header with a well placed cross in the 69th minute.

Neither team could find the winner in regulation and it was Joseph Kopchick who knocked in a header for the winner just over five minutes into overtime.

Alvernia freshman Benjamin Diller (Etters, Pa./Red Land) made seven saves as did his LVC counterpart.

The Crusaders travel to Widener on Tuesday to continue the conference schedule.
