Reading, Pa. (Oct. 20, 2009) - Alvernia University (12-2) showed its depth Tuesday afternoon taking the second and third doubles matches convincingly and each of the last five singles matches in a 7-2 win over DeSales University in non-conference women's tennis action at Governor Mifflin Courts.

Highlighting the singles wins was junior Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) who improved to 14-0 in singles play with a straight set win at No. 3.

Alvernia is scheduled to play in the conference individual tournament starting this Saturday.
