Reading, Pa. (Sept. 8, 2009) - The Crusaders Women's Tennis team continued their hot start with a 9-0 win at Immaculata in non-conference action.  With the win Alvernia now sits at 3-0 on their young season.  No Crusader player allowed more than two points scored against them in any set, while #6 Lauren Ehnes (Roselle Park, Pa./Roselle Park) held her opponent scoreless in singles.

Jenny McKee (York, Pa./York Catholic), Lauren Ertel (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) and Kayla Morgan (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg) all defeated their opponents 6-1, 6-0, while Ehnes followed with her impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory.  Immaculata was able to muster slightly more offense in doubles where they managed three points at #1 doubles, but McKee and Morgan would prevail with an 8-3 victory.

The Crusaders will put their undefeated season on the line Sept.12th when they face Philadelphia Bible College in non-conference action at home beginning at 1:00pm.
