Reading, Pa. (June 22, 2010) - The Middle Atlantic Conference announced its annual sportsmanship teams for spring 2009-10 conference sports.  These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season.  The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools. 

From the baseball team Steve DeBarberie (Drexel Hill, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) was honored, Jacklyn Torres (Colonia, NJ/Colonia) from the softball team was honored, Tom Casper (Milwaukee, Wi./Marquette U.) earned the honor for Men's Lacrosse and Megan Corrigan (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) from the Women's Lacrosse team was honored.

From the Track and Field team both Chris Emmanuel (Engelwood, NJ/St. Joseph) and Nicole Truax (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) were honored, Lauren Ertel (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) earned the honor for the Women's Tennis team and Jimmy Dolinger (Oxford, Pa.Oxford) was named to the Men's Golf sportsmanship team.
