Reading, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2011) - Alvernia University (4-1) had no trouble cruising past Lancaster Bible College (0-4) by a 9-0 final Thursday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Angelica Park.
The Crusaders dropped just four games in doubles play jumping out to a 3-0 lead.
Kayla Morgan (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg) needed a tie-breaker to win the first set at No. 1 singles, but breezed through the second set 6-0. Alvernia won each singles match in straight sets, three of them by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Alvernia will travel to Penn State-Berks next Wednesday.
