Annville, Pa. (Apr. 21, 2011) - Lebanon Valley (11-6, 5-1) swept through doubles play then won five of six singles matches for an 8-1 win over Alvernia University (8-5, 1-3) Thursday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Annville-Cleona High School.

Alvernia senior Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) earned the only point for the Crusaders at no. 2 singles when her opponent retired with Snyder up 6-3, 3-1.

Alvernia wraps up the regular season hosting Messiah College in a men's and women's doubleheader Monday.
