Williamsport, Pa. (Apr. 9, 2011) - Lycoming College (4-5, 2-1) got just enough with two out of three doubles points then split the single matches for a 5-4 win over Alvernia University (8-3, 1-1) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Lycoming.

Alvernia stormed back from its early 2-1 deficit with singles wins at no. 1, 2, and 3 by Jenny McKee (York, Pa./York Catholic), Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg), and Kayla Morgan (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg), but the Warriors took the match winning at no. 4, 5, and 6.

Alvernia is schedule to continue the conference schedule at Arcadia Monday.
