Immaculata, Pa. (Oct. 3, 2012) - Alvernia University (4-0) won all six singles matches to claim an 8-1 win over Immaculata University (3-8) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Immaculata.

The hosts were able to take an early point with an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles, but the Crusaders built on a 2-1 win after doubles play with straight-set wins at every flight but No. 4 singles.  Alvernia dominated play losing just three total games at four of the six flights.  Kayla Morgan (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg) and Rachele Smith (Millville, N.J./Sacred Heart) both won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 6 respectively.

The Crusaders continue the schedule hosting Cedar Crest College on Thursday and will head to the MAC Championships this weekend.
