Reading, Pa. (Apr. 27, 2013) - Lebanon Valley College (11-6, 5-1) defeated Alvernia University (9-8, 3-3) by an 8-1 final Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Governor Mifflin Courts.

Alvernia got its lone point from Alyssa Boyd (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) who earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.  The Crusaders enter the Commonwealth Championships as the No. 4 seed and will travel to top-seeded Elizabethtown College for a semifinal on Wednesday.
