Reading, Pa. (Apr. 6, 2013) - Alvernia University (7-6, 1-2) got points from eight different players in an 8-1 win over Lycoming College (0-6, 0-2) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Alvernia.

The Crusaders won the three doubles points then cruised through five of six singles matches.  The Warriors were able to earn a point at No. 2 doubles with Kathy Jacobs earning a 6-4, 6-1 win. 

Alvernia hosts an important conference match with Albright College on Tuesday.
