Glenside, Pa. (Sept. 28, 2013) - Arcadia University (3-2) got a comeback win at No. 6 singles to take a 5-4 win over Alvernia University (2-2) Saturday afternoon in women's tennis action at Arcadia.

The Knights took a 2-1 lead with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles.  The Crusaders earned an 8-1 win from Julie Seidel (Wernersville, Pa./Wilson) and Becca Perkins (Robesonia, Pa./Conrad Weiser) at No. 1 doubles.  Seidel and Perkins followed with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles respectively and Alyssa Boyd (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) took a straight-set win at No. 2 singles.

Arcadia earned wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to level the match and Alexandria Broome came back from a 6-2 loss in the first set at No. 6 with a 6-1 win in the second set then finished the win with a 10-2 win.

Alvernia will host Cabrini on Saturday.
