After two scoreless innings, Alvernia jumped ahead in the third as senior

TCNJ did not respond until the sixth, where they scored one run on an RBI single. Shannon Grim (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) received the throw from Fritz and was able to nail the runner coming home.
Galanti picked up her second RBI of the game in the eighth inning, plating Manowski on a ball to right field. However, the Lions answered with a run of their own on a sacrifice fly to center.
The Crusaders struck again in the tenth as Kuhn  ripped a double to center field to score junior
Felicia McKenna (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) from second. Alvernia closed out the bottom half of the inning without allowing a hit.
