Grantham, Pa. (Apr. 21, 2014) - Messiah College (5-6, 3-2) won all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches in an 8-1 win over Alvernia University (9-10, 3-3) Monday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Messiah.

The Alvernia team of Julie Seidel (Wernersville, Pa./Wilson) and Kellie O'Donnell (Oreland, Pa./Springfield Twp.) nearly took the match at No. 1 doubles before falling 7-4 in a tiebreaker.  Seidel won the Crusaders only point of the match winning 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
