BOX SCORE Owings Mill, Md. (Jan. 10, 2015) - Stevenson University (10-2, 4-0) defeated Alvernia University (5-7, 1-3) by a 65-47 final Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's basketball action at Stevenson.

The Mustangs scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back.

Alvernia got a team-high 13 points from Stevie Fortna and 10 from Jenna Wolff.  The Mustangs had a pair of players reach 20 points.

The Crusaders forced 20 turnover by the Mustangs, but committed 29 of their own.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule on Wednesday hosting Widener.
