Annville, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2015) - Lebanon Valley (5-7, 2-1) scored the only goal of the game in the 67th minute of a 1-0 win over Alvernia University (5-3-5, 0-1-1) Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth Men's Soccer action at LVC.
Twenty minutes into the second half, Ian McGinnis was able to get a foot on a ball in a scrum in front of the Alvernia net and poke it past Crusader keeper
Zach Rider.
The Crusaders were able to drum up four of their 18 shots after the goal, but couldn't find the equlizer. LVC keeper Cam Avery made seven saves in the win. Rider finished with three.
Alvernia returns home to host Albright College on Wednesday.
