Reading, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2015) - Alvernia University (5-2-5) collected its fifth draw of the season, ending 0-0 with Arcadia University (7-3-2) in its MAC Commonwealth Conference opener Tuesday evening at Alvernia.

Crusaders goalie Zach Rider made five saves in the net, all of which came during regulation.

Alvernia had its best goal attempt with 1:48 left in regulation as Cody Shirk ripped a hard shot from the right side, but Arcadia goalie Chris Watson gathered the save to send the game into overtime.

Each team managed two shots in the first overtime, but were unable to convert.

Arcadia had an opportunity at the game winner two minutes into the second overtime, but a misplay by the Knights left the game scoreless.

The Crusaders continue their run through the MAC Commonwealth Conference on Saturday, traveling to Lebanon Valley College for a 4:00 start.
