Bryn Mawr, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2015) - Bryn Mawr College (2-0) won four out of six singles matches to overcome an early 2-1 deficit en route to a 5-4 win over Alvernia Univeristy (4-1) Tuesday afternoon in non-conference women's tennis action at Bryn Mawr.
The Crusaders got wins at No. 1 and 3 doubles to take the 2-1 lead then saw Bryn Mawr come back with wins at No. 2, 3, 5, and 6 singles.
Cassandra Noray and
Emily Thek both earned wins in doubles and singles play for the Crusaders.
Alvernia heads to the MAC Individual Tournament this Friday through Sunday in Wilkes-Barre.
