Reading, Pa. (Sept. 23, 2015) - Alvernia University (3-1-4) played Elizabethtown College (6-1-1) to a 0-0 draw Wednesday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at Alvernia in the annual Kicks For Cancer game.

Alvernia sophomore Zach Rider made five saves in net for the Crusaders who are now unbeaten in five straight.

Etown had the balance of offense in the first half getting off nine shots in the first half to just a pair for the Crusaders.  Alvernia was able to flip the field in the second half holding a 7-5 advantage in shots.

Etown had a dangerous header late in the first overtime that just missed the near post.  Alvernia drew a corner kick with time running out in the second overtime but couldn't generate a shot on frame.

The Crusaders travel to DeSales University on Saturday.
