BOX SCORE Lancaster, Pa. (Sept. 4, 2015) - Alvernia University (1-0-1) played to a 0-0 draw with Eastern University (1-0-1) Friday evening in game one of the Franklin & Marshall Men's Soccer Classic.

Lightning caused the game to be delayed in the 80th minute and the game was eventually called a draw since a delayed game cannot be restarted more than three hours after its original start time.

Alvernia will face the host Diplomats Saturday at 6:00 p.m.  Eastern will face Arcadia at 3:00 Saturday afternoon.

In Friday's game, Alvernia and Eastern played a very level match with the Eagles holding a slight 8-6 advantage in shots.  Both starting goalies made two saves--both in the first half.  Both teams maanged just one shot after halftime.

Rocky Elgogari and Andrew Baylor had the two Alvernia shots on frame.  Zach Rider made two saves to earn the shutout.
