Reading, Pa. (Apr. 19, 2016) - Alvernia University (8-7, 4-1) remained in the playoff hunt with a 9-0 win over Stevenson University (0-13, 0-6) Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at Angelica Park.

The Crusaders notched convincing wins at all three doubles flights then ran off six straight-set wins in singles play.

Alvernia improves to 4-1 in the MAC Commonwealth in a tie with Lebanon Valley a game behind league-leading Messiah College.  Alvernia travels to Lycoming this Saturday then hosts Lebanon Valley next Saturday.
