Glassboro, N.J. (Oct. 14, 2017) - Alvernia University finished 26th out of 28 schools at the Inter-Regional Border Battle Men's Cross Country race Saturday morning hosted by Rowan University.

Matt Junio continues to pace the Golden Wolves.  He finished 178th in a time of 28:26.  Matthew Wacker was 190th, Nick Sturm was 212th, Tyler Barrett finished 219th, and Nick Sokolovic was 227th.  Thomas Beck finished 237th and Arturo Herrera finished 241st.

Haverford College cruised to victory in the team event with 29 points placing four runners in the top 10 and Rowan's Kevin Veltre won the individual title in a time of 24:44.
