Doylestown, Pa. (Oct. 28, 2017) - Alvernia University finished 13th out of 17 teams at the Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Championship Saturday afternoon hosted by Delaware Valley University.

Junior Matt Junio was the top finisher for the Golden Wolves covering the 8k course in just under 30 minutes to finish 77th.  Nicholas Sokolovic finished 98th in a time of 31:20.  Nick Sturm and Matthew Wacker finished back-to-back in 105th and 106th, and Tyler Barrett was 122nd, Thomas Beck was 137th, Arturo Herrera was 151st, and Johan Corona was 155th.

Messiah College placed five runners in the top 18 spots to claim the team title, and Widener's Franklin Livolsi won the individual title.
