Alvernia Falls to Lebanon Valley, 55-30

BOX SCORE Annville, Pa (Dec. 2, 2017) - Alvernia University (3-4, 0-2) was held to single digits in all four quarters on its way to a 55-30 loss against Lebanon Valley (5-2, 2-0) during MAC Commonwealth Conference women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon at Lebanon Valley.

Alvernia held an early four point lead midway through this first quarter before Lebanon Valley regained the lead and never looked back.

The Golden Wolves entered the half down by five before the Dutchmen began to pull away early in the third quarter. Lebanon Valley opened the second half on a 16-0 run before Emily Theobald converted a layup for the Golden Wolves with just under three minutes remaining in the third quarter. Alvernia would go on to score the final six points of the quarter.

Entering the fourth quarter, Lebanon Valley again went on an 8-0 run before a made free throw by Torie Zerbe halted the run. The Dutchmen scored 19 in the fourth to solidify its 55-30 victory over the Golden Wolves.

???????Theobald and Maya Cooper each had a team high six points. Torie Zerbe had a team high nine rebounds and five points.

The Golden Wolves look to collect their first conference win of the season when they host Lycoming College on Wednesday at 8:00 PM.
