Annville, Pa. (Apr. 1, 2017) - Lebanon Valley College (6-4, 1-0) earned wins at the final three singles flights for a 6-3 win over Alvernia University (5-3, 0-1) Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at Lebanon Valley.

The Dutchmen were up 2-1 after taking the No. 1 and 3 doubles flights, but Alvernia fought back with wins at No. 1 and 3 singles.  Cassandra Noray took a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 and Emily Thek won a tightly-contested match at No. 3, 7-5, 7-6 (7-5).

LVC got 3-set wins at No. 2 and 4 singles and straight set wins at 5 and 6 to close the match.

Alvernia continues the conference schedule hosting Hood College on Tuesday.
