BOX SCORE Radnor, Pa. (Oct. 2, 2018) - Alvernia University (3-0) swept Cabrini University (0-3) in non-conference women's tennis action on Tuesday evening at Cabrini.

Alvernia took an initial point following a forfeit by the Cavaliers at #3 doubles. The Golden Wolves added to that with Amanda Phillips and Ariana Chuprinsky taking an 8-0 win at #1 doubles, and Laura Covely and Cassandra Bean taking an 8-1 win at #2 doubles to give Alvernia the 3-0 advantage heading into singles play.

In singles play, Phillips and Figurelli took won their matches 6-0, 6-0 at #1 and #5 singles. Chuprinsky and Danovich took their sets at #2 singles by a decision of 6-0, 6-1. Covely took #3 singles by opponent retirement after the first set ended at 3-0.

The Golden Wolves continue their fall season on Monday with a home match against Delaware Valley University.
