Reading, Pa. (Apr. 7, 2018) - Hood College won five of six singles matches to finish off a 7-2 win over Alvernia University Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's tennis action at Hood.

Alvernia senior Cassandra Noray teamed with Leah Kemper for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles, but Hood answered with 8-1 and 8-3 wins at No. 2 and 3 respectively.

Noray dominated her match at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win, but the Blazers were able to capture each of the final five singles matches in straight sets.

Alvernia continues the season Monday at DeSales.
