Lehigh, Pa. (Jan. 26, 2019) - Alvernia University competed at the Covert Classic Track and Field Invitational Saturday hosted by Moravian College at Lehigh University.

Highlights for the men's results include Avery Lawrence finishing 14th in the 60m dash in a time of 7.32 seconds, Ivan Fegely finishing 17th in the long jump with a mark of 6.15m and in a tie for 5th in the high jump at 1.88m, and the 4000m DMR including Tyler Barrett, Dylan Bennett, Thomas Beck, and Matt Junio finishing 14th.

On the women's side the 4000m DMR was eighth with Paige McKenna, Susanna Pirollo, Katelyn Schoener, and Julia Malpass representing the Golden Wolves.  Lauren Callueng was 19th in the triple jump with a mark of 9.46m
